We start with THE PUMP MATRIX, a powerful pumping blend that will rip through your shirt and make you swell like a balloon as you move. By boosting nitric oxide and quenching your cells' thirst, you'll have the blood flow you need to power through your sets.

We start with 6,666 milligrams of L-citrulline, an amino acid that plays an essential role in the urea cycle and cardiovascular health. Once in the body, citrulline is converted into arginine, which then becomes nitric oxide. There is perhaps no better ingredient on the market to promote vasodilation and therefore stimulate blood flow in the muscles.

L-Citrulline is supported in DVST8 by 2,000 milligrams of NO3-T Arginine Nitrate, a double-edged pump ingredient that we've seen in other Inspired formulas and proven to provide excellent blood flow, vasodilation, and pump delivery. Nitrate is converted to nitric oxide in one pathway, and arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide in another. Research has shown significant improvement in athletic performance when arginine is consumed in the range of 1.5 to 2 grams. DVST8 doesn't let you settle for short bursts of intensity followed by laziness.

The ENDLESS Endurance Matrix

This blend starts with the classic dose of 3,200 milligrams of beta-alanine. The source of this famous tingling effect, beta-alanine, is primarily an endurance booster. It is a building block of carnosine, a molecule that buffers lactic acid in muscles. This means less fatigue and more repetitions.

Cocoa bean extract is standardized to theobromine, which has been shown to improve energy levels, enhance mood and stimulate thermogenesis. By inhibiting adenosine, theobromine can improve attention and motivation.

Naringin is a bioflavonoid derived from Citrus maxima that has been shown to suppress the expression of metalloproteinases-9 (MMP-9), which contributes to oxidative stress. As a result, physical fatigue can be reduced with the supplementation of Naringin.

The STIMULATED REALITY IGNITION matrix

Here you will really feel it. You will feel the stimulation through your nerve endings like a climax of fire.

We start with a powerful 400 milligrams of caffeine, which comes from 325 milligrams of stimulant Caffeine Anhydrous and 100 milligrams of Infinergy Dicaffeine Malate (which provides about 75 mg of caffeine). DVST8's DARK blend makes it one of the most formidable energy boosters on the market without being over the top.

Next we have NeuroCap, derived from Baikal SkullCap Root, a neuroprotective ingredient with flavonoids and other bioactive compounds that support cognitive improvement, anti-inflammatory effects and stress reduction. The name Skullcap is cool too, so it had to be included.

SYNapsis (Citrus Aurantium Extract) is a powerful source of synephrine, one of the best energy and fat burning ingredients available to us. Synephrine targets the beta-3 adrenoceptors in the body's stored fat tissue, triggering a cyclic adenosine monophosphate cascade that causes the pounds to melt away.

To round out the stimulants, we have DVST8 Dark's own Luciferene (lotus leaf extract). Lotus leaf extract consists of stimulant components that have been shown to improve mood, concentration and energy via serotonin receptors. It adds an excellent euphoric note to the harsher stimulants in the mix, such as caffeine and synephrine.

THE ELECTROLYTE MATRIX

We'll start, of course, with the most well-known electrolyte: salt. While salt gets a bad rap, it is absolutely crucial to maintaining proper hydration. With a hefty dose of 770 milligrams of sea salt, there's certainly no risk of sodium deficiency while we're lifting the weights.

Understand that problems start with salt when it is not supported by adequate potassium intake. We included a solid 287 milligrams of potassium in DVST8 Dark, which keeps you balanced and your cells floating in the water.

Next comes a nice, easy dose of 169 milligrams of magnesium, which is essential for almost every aspect of physical health. In fact, magnesium is a key component in over 600 reactions related to cellular metabolism, energy production and protein synthesis.

Last in the hydration mix we have 75 milligrams of fructooligosaccharides (FOS). FOS is a carbohydrate that improves the availability of the minerals contained in the mixture, thus multiplying the effectiveness of sodium, potassium and magnesium.

L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that critically manages the stress caused by intense training and body remodeling. As a precursor to neurotransmitters like dopamine, adrenaline, and norepinephrine, L-Tyrosine is a must-have for any stack aimed at improving focus, energy, and motivation.

CoLean is a blend of Alpha-GPC (300 mg) and Citicoline (200 mg). Choline is an essential nutrient for proper organ function in general, but our interest is in its role as a substrate for acetylcholine, also called a "learning neurotransmitter." Acetylcholine is responsible for an improved mind-muscle connection during exercise as it signals muscle contractions.

DMAE dl-bitartrate also belongs to the cholinergic family. It is structurally similar to choline and may further help improve memory and increase concentration. Additionally, there is some evidence that it can improve mood and overall well-being.
